” We are running out of time, act now before it’s too late.”

Don’t assume it’s not your responsibility. Don’t assume things you do won’t make a difference.
Do NOT throw plastic into the trash. (Bottles, bags, product packaging…)
HOP ON GOOGLE AND SEE IF YOUR TOWN RECYCLES. MAKE YOUR PARENTS AWARE IF THEY AREN’T!
Switch to energy efficient lightbulb.
Unplug appliances when they’re not being used.
Make sure you have a faucet aerator on each faucet. These inexpensive appliances conserve heat and water, while keeping water pressure high. (You can go to your local hardware store, and install one yourself or with a parent!)
Use a water filter to purify tap water instead of buying bottled water. Not only is bottled water expensive, but it generates large amounts of container waste.
Watch a video about what happens when you buy things. Your purchases have a real impact, for better or worse.
Donate or recycle cell phones and computers responsibly when the time comes. E-waste contains mercury and other toxics and is a growing environmental problem.
Don’t let all the bags, and boxes your holiday gifts came in just end up in a landfill.
